DESTINED TO FESTER - CARHARTT PRINTS FOR SALE

I have only 4 of these and there were only ever 5 made. Carhartt had them made for me for a show on Halloween 2 years ago and they got lost behind a load of other work.

They're crazy, square, 594mm x 594mm. They're printed on glow in the dark vinyl, like the stuff they make fire exit signs out of in night clubs. This shit really glows!!!... the vinyl is a giant sticker. So there's these 4 and no more.... ever!!

So get one ..... before I get bored and stick one to the front of my car....

(I'll throw in free postage)
Either email me for one or just buy one with Paypal from online store....

Studio Update

By this afternoon I managed to get all my stuff finally into the studio and organised enough, that I can get on with some work. Its strange working some where new, but its definately better being in such a bigger and easier space.

WORLDS COLLIDE

My friend Ollie has moved to Japan with his wife and met my Japanese friend Naru. I didn't organise it, they just met by accident. Its rad when things like that happen.

Have fun in Japan you guys and listen to Butcher ABC for me!!

Who Builds - Laup Builds!!

Slowly I'm getting things sorted in my new studio, I decided to take it easy and make things the way I want them instead ofrushing in and cluttering it up. Laup came up at the weekend and we spent all weekend building this new desk, with a light box built into the top. When I say we, I mean Laup did and I just held tape measures, bits of wood, screw etc and he made it. Its rad. I'm so stoked I always wanted a massive desk with a built in light box.

A shelf to put drawings on.....

There's strip lights under this, instead of buying perspex we used the old glass top from my old desk and sunk it into the top of the table.

Cuppa tea boys!!

Tools of the trade, Laup got a new saw just for the job. Thanks mate....

BBQ's, Babies and Boards - Mitchett

Last Sunday, there we had a BBQ at the Mitchett Mini Ramp, near my home town of Aldershot. It was just an excuse for all the skaters I grew up with, well the ones still in the UK, to get together with their families and friends, skate and have a laugh. The guys I grew up skating with were allot older than me. I was 12 when I started skating with them and I think Brow was the closest to my age and he was 18? So it seemed like a big age gap and now allot of them have families and real jobs, unlike me who seems to be living a Peter Pan existance.

Mikes Heelblock

I thnk we're gonna try and do this more often its good to see everyone again.

German - Down for Life

My German friend and a friend of Stefan's, Hilko, just started getting this tattoo of my drawing.

PARIS

On yesterday I was in Paris, I had a meeting at the Studio 55 Gallery to show them some works I have and also to sign the large skull drawing I made as a commission for a client of theirs.

My meeting was over by 11am, so I met Lucy and Sophia for Coffee and Croissant at Autobus, Scott and Paris Benjamin met us as well. I stayed with Chas, Lucy and baby Sophia for 2 nights. It was really good to see them and get a little time to hang with Sophia, Lucy and also get a little shred in with Chas at the local curb and just one "Vine Rouge" . I miss Chas and Lucy living in london, but I'm so happy for that they love living in Paris this much.

In the afternoon I met Ace Dave Tura and went to visit the guys at the indoor park just outside Paris, they've just built this new bowl outside the park. Its really good fun and they have a concrete skull !!! a good day of skulls!!

INDEPEDENT TRUCKS

Jerome just sent me this foto of the new Independent Trucks pre-order book he has in the office. My shirt is in there. I dunno if you'd get how proud and stoked I am to have made anything for Independent, but as being the one brand I have always backed its the best thing to have happened to me in my artistic career. As a skater this is the highest level I can get to.... Indy's are skateboarding to me, I really can't believe I've actually done a shirt for them. I'm so happy I could cry......

Its gonna be even more mental when I see someone wearing one.....

YEAH I RIDE'EM!!!

New Studio

Last week I found a studio and signed the lease, it was a really good size space and a good deal. I've not started moving in yet, I just went in and painted it all white again tonight. Its gonna be 2 weeks until the internet is installed and Laup is coming up on saturday to help me build a desk across the window wall, with some shelves under it.

I really can't wait to be able to move all my stuff in and make some much larger works, I haven't really had the proper chance to do so since I was in university, unless I use someone elses space. Its gonna be so good, to be able to make larger work and be messy again.

I'll keep you posted how it goes...

Ekta Skateboards

My friend Gerard just sent me these boards and the t-shirt I dreww for his company called "Ekta" its based outta Cornwall. The boards have come out really well.

Cheers Gerard...

W+K Destroyed by Metal - Amsterdam

Last week I flew to Amsterdam to help install my exhibition at W+K. It started, as it continued, a weekend of firsts. The guys at W+K got me a car and driver to pick me up from the airport. The dude even had a sign with "Mr French" on it in arrivals, I've always seen people with those signs and thought it'd be great to get picked up instead of having to get the Megabus to a foreign town. This dudes was rocking a Merc, with plush leather seats and some dope gangster rap. I HAVE ARRIVED!!

Once at there Lel and Andrew met me, we had some Pizza on the roof and a few beers and then, myself, Andrew and Lel mounted, framed and roughly hung around 40 pictures. Andrew tried to dodge work 'cos he needed to go and meet with some "hot swedish chick" ... so Lel and me stayed till around 2 am to hang stuff and just generally make a start on the show.

The next day there wasn't much I could really do in the day time, as the office at W+K is open, so I needed to wait to get stuff finished. So I spent the day, sorting out emails and other stuff in the morning and then the afternoon at the skate park. This bowl is some serious fun and also become a really cool place to meet people. I met a really good group of local skaters and new friends. Allot of which ended up coming to the opening and the metal show at the Cave on the friday night. It was funny I actually met allot of other Engles who came.

I didn't get any foto's of the actually opening, but here's some of just before it got started, the space is the reception of the W+K office. Its actually a really good space, there were all this pictures hanging also 2 screens playing some video clips and animations of my work, like the video here on my blog.

There's was expense spared, with a coffin for the beer to be put in and also a wreath with my name on, like it was my funeral. Metal was played at all times....

Also the VIP's were given these wrist bands for the after party at the Cave... I think I may have made it when I have my name on a festival style wrist band.

Also with the shirts, I put on the blog the other day, with the band logo's and dates on there was a merch stand, selling more of my shirts, screen prints and zines. It was like a french stock... I was so overwhelmed by it.

The Metal Show was absolutely amazing... it was at this tiny metal venue "The Cave", a really good place to see bands. Lengt'che were on 1st, (above)... rad Belgian death.

Nox were on second, total brutal black death with vocals by the old singer from the sick Dutch band "Prostitute Disfigurement".

Then the entire reason for me to be in Holland, Inhume. It was amazing, W+K asked who I wanted to get to play at the opening I suggest Inhume, but I never thought they would get them? So rad! I saw them a few years ago in London. I've been a long time fan... I think they're so brutal and such good fun live. Even better they came to the exhibition and I got to hang out and chat with them, drank a few beers and they even gave me, not one, but two Inhume shirts....so happy!! They're really good guys... like a beer and having a laugh. The show went off, I have bruises all over my back from being knocked down in the mosh. Also Ben gave me the set list as momento of the show...thats getting framed. Thanks so much for playing guys and just being rad.

Thanks allot to all at W+K for making the show happen, a massive thank you to Jeff Kling for even thinking of the idea of having me at W+K. Big huggs and thanks to Lel for looking after me and being a road trip Mum for the few days. Cheers to Andrew (its a wigg and a fake tan)... and a special thanks to all who came, saw, bought art and shirts..... and the biggest thanks to the Cave and all the bands who made this the best thing ever!!!

For anyone in Amsterdam tonight, my show at W+K opens and the after party is at the Cave. The good people have fixed it so that brutal legends "Inhume" are playing... I'm so excited. The exhibition is gonna be great... but getting to see Inhume again is epicly amazing!

London Death Fest - Immolation / Avulsed

Yesterday I went to Immolation and Avulsed play with Tom and Alanglass.... it was so rad.

Detrimentum....

Alanglass stage divided during Avulsed... I have never seen that many people move outta the way that quickly.

Amputated were rad... they played loads of good old stuff and a new stuff... including a song called 'raped by micheal jackson'

There was an hour gap later between bands and we sheltered from the rain and drank cheap beer.

Slaughter, W+K Amsterdam

The very nice people at Wieden and Kennedy, Amsterdam, have invited to put on an exhibition of my work in their gallery next friday. Its gonna be pretty rad. I think Andrew there has made a coffin to put the beer in and is getting a load of crazy other stuff made for the show. They've really hooked me up. So "get your arse to mars" ...well Amsterdam and come have some free beer and "a smoke and pancake".

Also there's an a gig for the show and they managed to get some real brutality.... Leng t'che, Nox and Inhume. I really love Inhume, I saw them before at the Underworld... so rad.

Theres also special gig shirts being made for the show, they were designed by Dem's the Aussie beaut!!! Ya little ripper!! ...and being printed by the masker of ink... Lovenskate "Hangtime" Stu.
