Matt Cassity

Matt Cass is one of my best friends in the whole world, we use to live together in Kansas.....he looked after me in my time in the states and when I've been to see him in New York. He's an amazing artist, designer and one cool guy. He also looks after anything I need doing on tapedcopies. I sent him a shed load t-shirts before and he's just sent me this to provide evidence that he's rocking it......

Mostly this week I have been......

After getting back from Basel and having a chest infection, I've been drawing and working at the studio.

I'm working on this for Peter Beste at the moment, I still need to ink it and finish it off next week.

On the way to work this monring I was skating down the street and passed a Petrol truck with this painted on the back....I didn't see, but I think kris kristofferson was driving it.

I've also been working on this painting as well, I already drew a smaller drawing of it and I've now painted a bone / skin colour in the back ground and now I'm working on drawing the detail in.

Alexander Benedict

So this dude emailed me some of his drawings.... he hasn't got a site or anything.... but I love his work.

The Artists Guide

The issue of The Artists Guide is out really soon, I have a drawing in there ....along with Matt Cassity, Marcus Oakley and many others. The theme this time is fancy dress and there's even a limited edition t-shirt...check it out.

Wainer's was there for the west cuntry, they let him off his asbo for the weekend....obviously drinking lager tops and taking his part in the whole weekend really seriously... and trying to mugg small kids on the street course for their fod vouchers.

Leggin's was there.... this kids a crazy Dutch bastard...you'll see more of this kid ....he's a mess... drunkest kid ever but rules.

It was rad to see my brothers in metal... the Yama guys were drinking it all weekend...Feret dropped in on this by the station.

Satanic Gas Mask Prints

Stu made me 2 of these as very special limited edition prints, I'm not gonna make more than these 2 and they are made with the ink from the t-shirt printing so they come out really shinny and super sharp.

I'm gonna put them for sale on my online store next Tuesday, when I get back from Switzerland. So if you want one fo the 2 go on there on tuesday and order them. They're only gonna be £20 and they're just over A3 in size.

A load of shot down to Whitstable yesterday, Gorm drove the Gorminator tank....with plenty of Iron Maiden and Sabbath playing, to skate the park and see the Road Kill lads. Zombies been down from Staffordshire for the weekend so he came and ripped it a new one..... HI-5!!!

Gorm shot some sick pictures....

Dan gave me these new shirts and his new zine as well....stoked!!!

Buried....

Peter Beste - is the best

Peter Beste sent me a copy of his massive new hard back, ouber posh book. Its wicked and the first time I've had a book signed to me by the author (me geeking out). I'm drawing one of Peter's photo's to be used as a t-shirt for him. I better get on with this other work so I can get onto to doing that. Thanks again Peter for that....

New Studio...New Sound System

I've spent this week getting my new studio sorted and becoming used to cycling to work and dealing with other people. But my buddy Bingo, who knows Venom really well, bought me this sweet new "Nostalgic" sound system to listen to Venom on...cos my mega one had to stay at home for metal listening purposes. This one can lay records, cd, tape and radio and looks dope! Bingo and his buddies Venom are gonna be making a Venom / Mischief skate store t-shirt really soon. So if you want one just email Bingo (info@mischiefskatestore.com) and ask him to save you one when they come in.

I've been framing stuff for an up coming group show....it was good to sort out what drawings I have and whats good and what needs to get dumped.

New studio

I've finally done something I never thought I'd be able to do and thats get a studio away from home to work from. Its my first day today and after a heavy week of work last week and then moving in over the weekend in the heat I feel pretty knackered...but still excited.

I'm sharing the studio with my friend Chrissie...she's wicked. Anyway back to drawing and making it look a little more lived in and homely.
